Refund policy
DAMAGES Notification of damage to any received product must be made by the buyer within the first 5 days of delivery. Images of the packaging and damages should be sent to CMX along with a product condition report. Any return of damaged items must be agreed upon in advance by CMX and will not be accepted unless the goods are in their original packaging.
WARRANTY CMX guarantees that the products offered on our platforms function properly and do not have hidden defects that could render them unusable and dangerous. However, the proper use and maintenance of the products are the responsibility of the customer and the end user. CMX reserves the right to request all necessary information to assess and apply such warranty. CMX is not obligated to seek invoices or receipts in case of loss for warranty claims. Invoices and warranties are not transferable.
DURATION CMX offers a 6-month warranty for all products that are found to be defective or unusable due to proven manufacturing or assembly defects, provided the buyer has complied with the agreed-upon payment terms. CMX will not accept or pay any invoices sent by third parties for the repair of defective products without prior agreement. The receipt of products showing obvious damage to the items or packaging must be recorded in writing. In case the customer cannot verify the receipt of the goods immediately, the phrase "received with reservation" must be recorded on all attached documents.
COVERAGE CMX offers the following solutions consecutively and applies them as a warranty: First: Replace or repair the damaged part. Second: Replace the entire product. Third: Money back*
REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OF DAMAGED PARTS CMX will, in the first instance, manufacture, repair, and replace damaged parts as long as they show manufacturing defects. The replacement time will depend on the complexity of the product and the production schedule of the involved workshops. The delivery schedule will be reviewed with the customer by prior agreement.
PRODUCT REPLACEMENT CMX will manufacture furniture as long as the replacement of damaged parts does not meet the function and quality of the product. MONEY BACK The customer must process the refund request for purchased products that do not meet the required expectations and have not been resolved in the previous points, considering that it applies only in the following cases: CLAUSE I If the delivered product has no defects or damages, and the customer simply wants to return an unwanted or unsatisfactory product, it does not qualify for a refund or exchange. All purchases are final. Lost or damaged products during transportation and without previously contracted insurance. Delivery time exceeds 90 business days from the purchase date without the customer receiving the product. Incorrect amount charged to the customer; the refund applies for the difference in favor of the customer. In case the refund is approved, the return shipping will be covered by CMX. The refund will be granted by deposit to the customer's provided account or another method agreed upon between CMX and the customer. CLAUSE II. REQUIREMENTS FOR REFUND PROCESSING. To request a refund, the following information must be provided, which can be sent by email: Quote. Description of the item. Justification for the refund. Payment method used for the purchase. If the shipment of the product is necessary, its conditions should be evaluated by our team before proceeding with a possible refund. It takes up to 30 days to process a refund after the customer has requested or applied for it. The cost of shipping the returned product will be borne by the customer, which will be fully compensated in the refund amount. To initiate the refund process, please write to the email address: info@cmx.furniture with all the necessary details mentioned above. If the products were damaged in transit or are factory-defective, please attach images to evaluate the case. In case the products were damaged in transit, we appreciate being notified as soon as possible to investigate the case with the transport company. CMX will not accept refunds for products in good quality once delivered; all purchases of products in good condition and quality are final. Upon receiving the product delivery, a user has up to 30 calendar days to apply for a refund.
EXCEPTIONS The warranty will not be valid in the following cases: Improper installation or maintenance by the customer. Damages caused by the customer or third parties once installed and delivered. Any unauthorized repair, modification, alteration, or adjustment by CMX. Misuse and abuse of the furniture structure. Damages caused by natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, excessive humidity, or direct exposure to the sun. Damages caused by movements, relocations, and/or displacements of the pieces without following the assembly and disassembly instructions. Products used in industrial settings. Consequential or incidental damages suffered by any person as a result of the breach of this warranty. The warranty does not cover any damage caused by living beings attacking the product after delivery (This includes but is not limited to fungi).
APPLICABLE LAW Agreements governed by these Terms and Conditions will be subject to Mexican law, and the buyer agrees to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Mexican courts.
VARIATIONS IN MATERIALS Due to their nature, certain materials such as marble, onyx, wood, or fabrics may have variations in tones, color, veins, and inlays different from those shown in the images, so these variations are accepted and are not considered manufacturing defects.
